Usage:
EP Durebild FRE Coating is formulated to deliver long-term durability and resistance in highly corrosive industrial and marine environments. With volume solids of 85 ± 3%, it provides excellent barrier protection against splash and spillage of acids, alkalis, salts, solvents, and water. The product withstands continuous heat up to 100°C and intermittent up to 120°C, offering very good flexibility and excellent abrasion resistance. Recommended dry film thickness is 100–175 µm per coat, with a theoretical spreading rate of 4.9–8.5 m²/litre. The coating dries to touch in 6 hours, can be handled in 12 hours, hard dries in 18 hours, and achieves full cure in 7 days. Minimum overcoating interval is 18 hours and maximum is 1 month.
Applications:
Ideal for use on floating tank roof exteriors, jetty pilings, bridge underdecks, pipelines, and structural steel exposed to aggressive environments. It is widely used in fertilizer plants, refineries, petrochemicals, and corrosive industries where high-performance protection against chemicals and water is essential.
