Intertherm 715 Green
A single-pack, modified silicone temperature-indicating coating designed to provide a visual warning of hot spots and insulation failures. It changes colour from green to blue at 180–220°C and from blue to white at 310–350°C, making it an effective one-time indicator of dangerous temperature rises in industrial equipment.
Description
Type:
Single-Pack Modified Silicone Temperature Indicating Paint
Volume:
5 Ltrs
Category:
Heat-Resistant / Temperature Indicating Coating
Usage:
Intertherm 715 is formulated for reaction vessels, chemical plants, and petrochemical equipment as a functional coating to detect abnormal temperature rises and insulation breakdowns. It can be applied as a self-priming two-coat system over stainless steel or over inorganic zinc primers for optimum performance on carbon steel. Recommended dry film thickness is 25 µm per coat (60 µm WFT), with a theoretical spreading rate of 16.8 m²/litre at 25 µm DFT. The product dries to touch in 30 minutes at 25°C, hard dries in 90 minutes, and can be recoated after 90 minutes. Maximum service temperature is 350°C continuous dry heat exposure. This is a one-time warning system, and once the colour change occurs, the coating must be reapplied after proper surface preparation.
Applications:
Recommended for chemical reactors, furnaces, petrochemical vessels, and other industrial equipment requiring visual temperature monitoring as part of plant safety systems.
