Usage:
Thinner 853 is used primarily with chlorinated rubber paints (such as Linosol Chlorinated Rubber Paint) and high build zinc-phosphate primers where appropriate. It can be added up to 5% when thinning is required for airless spray or conventional spray applications. It ensures proper flow, atomization, and film finish when operating under high-pressure spray conditions (pump ratios around 30 : 1, tip sizes ~ 0.38–0.48 mm, tip pressures between 110–160 Kg/cm²). It also serves as a cleaning solvent for brushes, rollers, spray equipment after use.
Applications:
Suitable for use in industrial, marine, and infrastructure painting jobs involving chlorinated rubber topcoats, zinc phosphate primers, and related protective coating systems. It helps in both thinning coatings for better workability and in cleaning equipment post-application.
