Usage:
Hempaprime CUI 275 is recommended for carbon and stainless steel operating in severe corrosive environments, particularly where corrosion under insulation and thermal cycling are concerns. It can be used for both insulated and uninsulated service, in new construction as well as maintenance and repair. With 66 ± 2% volume solids, it provides a recommended DFT of 150 µm, with a theoretical spreading rate of approximately 4.4 m²/litre at the recommended thickness. It can be applied by airless spray, air spray, or brush/roller and can be applied at temperatures down to -10°C.
Applications:
Ideal for industrial equipment, piping, vessels, and steel structures exposed to high temperatures and thermal cycling, especially applications involving insulation where CUI protection is critical. Suitable for petrochemical, chemical, power, and other heavy industries requiring durable corrosion protection under demanding temperature conditions. It can be specified for operating temperatures from -196°C to 204°C, with sporadic exposure up to 275°C.
