Usage:
Provides exceptional cathodic protection with outstanding resistance to saline, marine, and offshore environments. Offers excellent barrier properties against water, solvents, and chemicals while maintaining strong adhesion and abrasion resistance. Withstands substrate temperatures from -90°C to +400°C and, when suitably top-coated, protects steel substrates up to +600°C. Ensures durable protection with a recommended dry film thickness of 50–75 µm per coat and a theoretical coverage of 8.6–13.0 m²/litre depending on film build. The primer dries rapidly, achieving surface dry in 30 minutes, hard dry in 8 hours, and full cure within 7 days at 30°C, while maintaining unlimited overcoating intervals provided the surface remains clean and uncontaminated.
Applications:
Recommended for blast-cleaned steel in aggressive industrial, petrochemical, and marine environments. Ideally suited for structural steel, bridges, pipelines, tanks, offshore platforms, and port facilities requiring maximum corrosion protection. Can be top-coated with compatible systems including epoxies, chlorinated rubber, acrylics, polysiloxane, or heat-resistant silicones.
