Usage:
Apcothane CF 678 H is designed as a finish coat for new-build and maintenance projects, particularly in coastal and industrially polluted environments. With approximately 60% volume solids, it provides a recommended DFT of 50–75 µm per coat and a theoretical coverage of approximately 12.0 m²/litre at 50 µm and 8.0 m²/litre at 75 µm. It dries to surface dry in 90 minutes, becomes hard dry in 6 hours, and reaches full cure in 7 days. The minimum overcoating interval is 6 hours, with an unlimited maximum provided the surface is properly cleaned of contamination.
Applications:
Ideal as a durable protective and decorative finish for industrial steel structures and equipment exposed to coastal, marine, and industrial environments. Suitable for new-build and maintenance coating systems where long-term weather resistance, colour and gloss retention, chemical resistance, water resistance, and mechanical durability are required. It can be applied over suitable epoxy primers or epoxy/polyurethane undercoats using air spray or airless spray.
