Usage:

Provides superior corrosion and chemical resistance in continuous high-temperature conditions. Functions as a self-priming coating with excellent adhesion to blast-cleaned steel, making it highly effective as a barrier coat. Withstands wet and dry cycles under insulation from -196°C to +230°C, and intermittent exposure up to 250°C. Exhibits excellent resistance to thermal shock, rapid heating, and cooling. Delivers a matt red oxide finish with approximately 80% volume solids. Recommended dry film thickness is 100–125 µm per coat, providing coverage of 6.4–8.0 m²/litre. Dries to surface in 5 hours, hard dry in 12 hours, and fully cures in 7 days at 30°C.

Applications:

Recommended for insulated and uninsulated steel pipelines, process equipment, vessels, and external surfaces subjected to cyclic thermal conditions in petrochemical, power, and industrial plants. Not recommended for internal tank linings but ideal for use in corrosion under insulation (CUI) protection systems.
