Usage:
Aquagreen WB EPX Primer is recommended for concrete and masonry surfaces, particularly in sterile rooms of pharmaceutical units and food and beverage producing industries. With a recommended DFT of 40–45 microns per coat, it provides a theoretical spreading rate of approximately 9.7–11 m²/litre per coat. It dries to touch within 2 hours, is handleable in 16 hours, becomes hard in 24 hours, and requires 6–7 days for curing. The primer offers good flexibility and impact resistance and forms part of a system with a water-borne PUD topcoat.
Applications:
Ideal for concrete and masonry surfaces in pharmaceutical, food processing, beverage, and other hygiene-sensitive environments. Particularly suitable for sterile rooms and areas requiring an eco-friendly, odourless primer system with good adhesion and durability. It can be applied by brush or roller and overcoated with Aquagreen WB PU Finish as part of the recommended system.
