Usage:
Bergerthane PU Finish provides an extremely durable, glossy finish that is compatible with epoxy and polyurethane undercoats. It offers excellent resistance to splash and spillage of acids, alkalis, solvents, salt, and water, with outstanding weatherability and gloss retention. The coating withstands continuous temperatures up to 93°C and intermittent exposure up to 120°C. Recommended dry film thickness is 30–40 µm per coat, with a theoretical spreading rate of 11.2–15.0 m²/litre. It dries to touch in 30 minutes, can be handled in 6–8 hours, hard dries overnight, and achieves full cure in 7 days. Overcoating can be done after overnight drying, with a maximum interval of 5 days.
Applications:
Recommended as a high-performance finish coat for refineries, petrochemical complexes, fertilizer and chemical plants, power plants, offshore structures, pipelines, and industrial equipment. It is particularly suited where long-term gloss and colour retention, chemical resistance, and abrasion resistance are essential.
