Usage:

Epilux 4 High Build Epoxy Finish provides superior corrosion and chemical resistance, making it ideal for application on structural steel, tanks, pipelines, offshore structures, petrochemical units, refineries, and power plants. It delivers a tough and durable egg-shell finish with excellent adhesion and barrier protection. Recommended dry film thickness is 90–110 µm per coat, with a theoretical spreading rate of 5.7–7.0 m²/litre. It dries to touch in 3–4 hours, hard dries overnight, and cures fully in 6–7 days at 30°C. The coating withstands continuous exposure to 93°C and intermittent exposure up to 120°C.

Applications:

Recommended as a high-performance finish coat over epoxy primers and intermediates in heavy-duty coating systems. Suitable for fertilizer plants, chemical units, refineries, petrochemical plants, offshore platforms, and marine/industrial environments where long-term resistance to corrosion, chemicals, and harsh weather conditions is required.
