Usage:

Epilux 610 HB Primer offers excellent corrosion resistance and superior adhesion, making it ideal for use in fertilizer plants, refineries, chemical industries, and structural steel exposed to marine and coastal conditions. It provides very good protection against water, salt, solvents, acids, and alkalis, with temperature resistance up to 93°C (continuous) and 120°C (intermittent). The coating dries to touch in 30 minutes, is hard dry in 8 hours, and achieves full cure in 7 days at 30°C. Recommended dry film thickness is 35–50 µm per coat, corresponding to a spreading rate of 12.0–17.1 m²/litre. Overcoating can be done after 8–12 hours (min) and up to 10 days (max) depending on conditions.

Applications:

Specially recommended for tank exteriors, pipelines, equipment, and structural steel in highly corrosive industrial and marine environments. It is suitable for overcoating with epoxy, chlororubber, or polyurethane topcoats, making it an essential component in high-performance protective coating systems.
