Usage:

Epilux 610 Primer offers superior corrosion resistance, strong adhesion, and long-lasting durability, making it suitable as the first coat in protective coating systems. It provides a smooth matt finish in Red Oxide or Grey, with a recommended dry film thickness of 50–75 µm per coat and a theoretical spreading rate of 8–10 m²/litre depending on surface conditions and application. The primer dries to touch in about 2–3 hours, is hard dry in 6–8 hours, and can be recoated after overnight drying. The cured film is resistant to moisture, salts, and a wide range of corrosive conditions, ensuring a durable foundation for subsequent epoxy or polyurethane topcoats.

Applications:

Ideally suited for steel structures, pipelines, storage tanks, chemical plants, fertilizer units, and marine environments. It is recommended as a primer for use under epoxy and polyurethane finish coats in heavy-duty protective systems where long-term corrosion resistance is critical.
