Usage:
Epilux 9 HB Phenolic Coating is engineered for use as an interior tank lining in refineries, petrochemical units, and heavy chemical industries, providing superior protection under immersion service. It offers very good resistance to acids and excellent resistance to alkalis, solvents, salts, and water, even under full immersion. With a recommended dry film thickness of 125–175 µm per coat and a theoretical spreading rate of 3.7–5.2 m²/litre, it ensures long-term performance in harsh environments. The coating withstands continuous service temperatures up to 160°C, with excellent abrasion resistance and durability. It dries to touch within 2–3 hours, hard dries in 10 hours, and achieves full cure in 7 days. Minimum overcoating interval is overnight, with a maximum of 5 days.
Applications:
Recommended for tank interiors, pipelines, and concrete containment areas in fertilizer plants, refineries, petrochemical complexes, and heavy chemical industries. Its high-build and phenolic-modified chemistry make it a reliable choice for long-term immersion and high-temperature service.
