Usage:
Epilux STL PI Coating is recommended for internal surfaces of pipelines, particularly where sustained immersion in potable or saline water is expected. With 98 ± 2% volume solids, it provides a recommended DFT of 200–500 microns per coat and a theoretical spreading rate of approximately 2.0–5.0 m²/litre per coat. It dries to touch within 2 hours, is handleable in 6 hours, becomes hard in 10 hours, and requires a minimum curing time of 7 days. The coating offers very good resistance to salt and water immersion and continuous temperature resistance up to 120°C.
Applications:
Ideal for internal pipeline surfaces and other steel or concrete surfaces requiring long-term protection under continuous water immersion. Particularly suitable for potable water pipelines and applications exposed to saline water where strong corrosion resistance, water resistance, and a solvent-free high-build coating system are required. It can be applied by airless spray, with brush application suitable for touch-up and small areas.
