Usage:
Hempathane HS 55610 Finish is designed for structural steel, pipelines, and equipment exposed to highly corrosive atmospheres, offering outstanding gloss retention, colour stability, and weatherability. It complies with EU VOC Directive 2004/42/EC and meets NORSOK M-501 standards when used in predefined paint systems. The coating can also be applied directly on galvanized steel or as a one-coat direct-to-metal system in C2 and C3 environments. With a recommended dry film thickness of 80 µm per coat (range 50–125 µm), it delivers a theoretical spreading rate of 8.3 m²/litre at 80 µm DFT. The product dries to touch in 90 minutes at 20°C, hard dries in 5 hours, and achieves full cure in 7 days. Pot life is approximately 2 hours at 20°C, and it can be applied by airless spray, conventional spray, brush, or roller.
Applications:
Recommended for offshore installations, refineries, petrochemical plants, power plants, bridges, and industrial equipment where long-term gloss retention and resistance to severe atmospheric conditions are critical. It withstands dry service temperatures up to 120°C and has been certified for low flame spread performance.
