Usage:
Hempadur 15553 is recommended as a primer for hot-dipped galvanized steel, aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel surfaces exposed to moderately to severely corrosive environments. With 55 ± 2% volume solids, it provides a recommended DFT of 50 µm and a theoretical spreading rate of approximately 11 m²/litre. It can be applied by airless spray and is suitable for application and curing at temperatures down to -10°C.
Applications:
Ideal for industrial steel structures and equipment where durable corrosion protection is required. Suitable for new construction as well as maintenance and repair applications involving galvanized steel, aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel, particularly in corrosive industrial environments. It can also be used as part of a coating system with compatible Hempel topcoats such as Hempathane HS 55610.
