A solvent-free, high-build, polyamine adduct cured epoxy coating designed to provide excellent corrosion and abrasion resistance in demanding environments. It offers good resistance to fresh water and is suitable for potable water tank and pipeline linings, as well as steel structures exposed to highly corrosive and abrasive conditions.

Usage:
Hempadur 35560 is recommended as a lining for potable water tanks and pipelines and as a self-primed, high-build coating for areas exposed to abrasion and highly corrosive environments, including splash zones, jetty and bridge pilings, and decks. It has 100% volume solids and a recommended dry film thickness of 200 µm, with a theoretical spreading rate of approximately 5 m²/litre at this thickness. The coating can withstand dry exposure temperatures up to 140°C and fresh-water exposure up to 45°C when applied directly on steel without a temperature gradient.
Applications:
Ideal for potable water tanks and pipelines, industrial steel structures, splash zones, jetty and bridge structures, and other applications requiring strong corrosion and abrasion protection. The product also complies with US FDA and EU food regulations for contact with dry foodstuff, and the PDS notes WRAS approval subject to the specified curing requirements.
