Usage:
Hempadur Mastic 4588W can be used as a self-priming coating or as an intermediate coat in heavy-duty paint systems for atmospheric exposure. It is particularly suitable where high film build, low VOC, and shorter recoating intervals are required, and can be applied at temperatures as low as -10°C. At the recommended 200 µm DFT, it provides a theoretical spreading rate of approximately 4 m²/litre.
Applications:
Ideal for heavy-duty protection of steel and other suitably prepared surfaces in industrial and infrastructure environments. It can be used for new construction as well as maintenance and repair applications, particularly where durable atmospheric protection, high film thickness, and reliable performance at low temperatures are required. The coating can withstand dry service temperatures up to 120°C.
