Usage:
Hempathane 55210 Finish is recommended as a finishing coat for structural steel and equipment in highly corrosive environments, offering superior gloss and colour stability. It withstands dry service temperatures up to 120°C and cures even at low application temperatures down to -10°C. With volume solids of 51 ± 2%, the recommended dry film thickness is 50 µm per coat (range 40–80 µm), corresponding to a spreading rate of 10 m²/litre. The coating dries to touch in 45 minutes at 20°C, can be recoated after 6 hours, and achieves full cure in 7 days. Overcoating can be extended depending on service conditions.
Applications:
Hempathane 55210 Finish is ideally used in refineries, petrochemical plants, offshore installations, chemical industries, and power plants where long-lasting gloss retention, UV resistance, and chemical durability are critical. It can be applied over epoxy or polyurethane primers and intermediates, forming part of high-performance coating systems for severe atmospheric exposure.
