Usage:

Interthane 990 Finish is suitable for both new construction and maintenance applications across a wide variety of environments including offshore platforms, petrochemical complexes, chemical plants, pulp and paper mills, bridges, and power generation facilities. With volume solids of 57 ± 3%, it provides a recommended dry film thickness of 50–75 µm per coat, corresponding to a spreading rate of 11.4 m²/litre at 50 µm DFT. It dries to touch in 90 minutes at 25°C, hard dries in 6 hours, and cures fully in 7 days. Minimum overcoating interval is 6 hours at 25°C, while maximum recoatability is extended. It is not recommended for permanent immersion service but performs exceptionally well in atmospheric conditions requiring gloss retention and durability.

Applications:

Recommended as a durable finish coat over suitable epoxy primers and intermediates such as Interseal 670HS, Intergard 475HS, and Intercure 200 series. It is best suited for industrial steelwork, offshore facilities, petrochemical plants, power industry infrastructure, and marine structures exposed to harsh weather and industrial atmospheres.
