Usage:
Neropoxy 3842 ZP Primer is a high-performance two-pack epoxy primer formulated with zinc phosphate for excellent anti-corrosive protection on mild steel and structural steel surfaces. It offers outstanding adhesion, durability, and corrosion resistance in mild to moderately corrosive environments. With volume solids of 42 ± 3%, it delivers a DFT of 50–60 µm per coat (corresponding WFT 119–142 µm), providing a theoretical spreading rate of 7.0–8.4 m²/litre. The coating dries to touch in 1 hour, hard dries in 16–18 hours, and achieves full cure in 7 days. The minimum overcoating interval is 16 hours and the maximum is 1 month, ensuring strong intercoat adhesion and long-term performance.
Applications:
Recommended as a primer for steel structures, storage tanks, conveyors, and machinery in industrial environments. It can be overcoated with epoxy or polyurethane topcoats for enhanced durability and chemical resistance. Ideal for use in infrastructure, chemical processing units, and general maintenance coatings where long-term protection against corrosion and environmental degradation is required.
