Usage:
Neropoxy 5055 HB Coating is recommended for use as a topcoat over epoxy primed or intermediate surfaces. It provides exceptional protection against corrosion, moisture, and natural weathering in industries such as fertilizer, petrochemical, and chemical processing. With volume solids of 48 ± 2%, it delivers a DFT of 50–60 µm per coat (corresponding WFT 104–125 µm), with a theoretical coverage rate of 8.0–9.6 m²/litre. The coating dries to touch in 1–2 hours, hard dries in 16–18 hours, and fully cures within 7 days. Minimum overcoating interval is 16 hours. The coating exhibits a satin finish and can be applied by brush, conventional spray, or airless spray.
Applications:
Ideal for use on structural steel, pipelines, storage tanks, and equipment in industrial and marine environments. It performs excellently as a finishing layer in epoxy systems, ensuring enhanced durability and mechanical performance under humid and corrosive conditions. Suitable for protective coatings in fertilizer, petrochemical, and manufacturing facilities where long-term performance and surface protection are critical.
