Usage:
Nerothane 460 GL Finish is recommended for use on primed steel and concrete surfaces where a high-performance, aesthetically pleasing, and weather-resistant coating is required. With a volume solid of 46 ± 3%, it provides a DFT of 45–50 µm per coat and a theoretical coverage of 9.20–10.22 m²/litre. It dries to touch in 1–2 hours, hard dries in 16–18 hours, and allows recoating between 16 hours and 5 days. Pot life is 4–6 hours at 30°C, ensuring ease of application by brush or conventional spray. It cures through solvent release and chemical reaction, forming a smooth, glossy, and durable film.
Applications:
Ideal for use on structural steel, machinery, equipment, storage tanks, and exterior surfaces exposed to harsh weather and UV conditions. Widely used in industrial, marine, and infrastructure sectors for its excellent gloss retention, mechanical toughness, and resistance to environmental degradation. Suitable as a final topcoat in protective coating systems requiring both performance and appearance.
