Usage:
Nerothane PU Finish Enamel is designed for application over epoxy-primed surfaces to deliver an attractive and durable protective finish. It combines superior color stability, gloss retention, and mechanical strength, performing well in areas exposed to sunlight, humidity, and industrial atmospheres. With volume solids of 45 ± 3%, it provides a DFT of 25–50 µm per coat (corresponding WFT 56–111 µm) and a theoretical coverage of 9.0–18.0 m²/litre. It dries to touch in 45 minutes, hard dries in 6–8 hours, and is ready for recoating after 24 hours. Pot life is approximately 4 hours at 30°C, and it fully cures through solvent release and chemical reaction.
Applications:
Recommended as a finishing topcoat over epoxy primers and intermediate coats for structural steel, refineries, marine installations, chemical plants, and heavy machinery. Its combination of aesthetic appeal and high chemical, abrasion, and UV resistance makes it suitable for both new construction and maintenance coating applications where long-term gloss and protection are critical.
