Usage:
PPG Sigmatherm 350 is recommended for the internal and external protection of steel surfaces exposed to high temperatures and weathering. With 39 ± 2% volume solids for white and 42 ± 2% for aluminium, it provides a recommended DFT of 25–30 µm per coat and a theoretical spreading rate of 13.0–16.8 m²/litre, depending on colour and film thickness. It dries to touch in 1 hour at 20°C, with a minimum overcoating interval of 18 hours. After drying for 3 days at 20°C, the coating requires exposure to a minimum temperature of 200°C for 2 hours to obtain sufficient mechanical strength and is heat-resistant up to 350°C.
Applications:
Ideal for protecting steel surfaces, pipelines, equipment, and other structures exposed to elevated temperatures and outdoor weathering. Suitable for industrial applications requiring heat-resistant protection and compatible with inorganic zinc primers.
