Usage:

Hempel’s Silicone Aluminium 56914 is recommended for the protection of hot pipelines, exhaust pipes, smoke stacks, and other high-temperature steel structures. It offers excellent heat resistance in dry exposure conditions and is designed to be applied over approved primers such as Hempel’s Galvosil 15700, 15780, or Galvosil Fibre 15750 in corrosive environments. The coating achieves a recommended dry film thickness of 25 µm per coat (range 20–40 µm), with a theoretical spreading rate of 17 m²/litre at 25 µm DFT. It dries to touch in 1 hour at 20°C, hard dries in 2.5 hours, and fully cures in 7 days. Application can be carried out using airless spray, conventional spray, or brush, with thinning recommended using Hempel’s Thinner 08080.

Applications:

Recommended for industrial chimneys, exhaust ducts, furnaces, pipelines, power plants, petrochemical facilities, and marine exhaust systems requiring durable protection at elevated temperatures. Its aluminium finish ensures both protective performance and aesthetic appeal.
