Usage:
Thinner 825 is compatible with Berger polyurethane coatings and is used to adjust the paint’s flow and sprayability. Up to 5% by volume may be added in certain conditions (temperature, humidity, spray method) when required to achieve optimum application. It has a specific gravity of approximately 0.80, indicating a relatively light solvent blend. The thinner also serves to clean brushes, rollers, and spray equipment used with PU paints, helping maintain film quality and finish. Shelf life is about 1 year under normal storage in sealed containers.
Applications:
Used in industrial, marine, and protective coating applications wherever Berger PU coatings are applied. Particularly relevant for PU topcoats on structural steel, equipment, etc., where thinning might be necessary or for cleaning tools after application of PU systems
