BR Thermolite Aluminium
A two-pack, direct-to-metal aluminium coating formulated with an inert polymeric matrix and aluminium pigments. It provides combined heat and corrosion resistance for steel surfaces exposed to wet and dry heat cycles, as well as cryogenic conditions, with temperature resistance ranging from -196°C to 660°C.

Usage:
BR Thermolite Aluminium is recommended for structural steel, pipelines, exhaust pipes, smoke stacks, and other steel surfaces exposed to elevated temperatures and wet/dry heat cycles. With 60 ± 2% volume solids, it provides a recommended DFT of 75–125 microns per coat and a theoretical spreading rate of approximately 4.8–8.0 m²/litre. It dries to touch in 30–60 minutes, is handleable in 4–6 hours, and becomes hard in 14–18 hours, with a minimum overcoating interval of 14 hours. The coating provides temperature resistance between -196°C and 660°C under dry heat conditions.
Applications:
Ideal for protecting steel structures and equipment exposed to high-temperature industrial environments and thermal cycling. Suitable for structural steel, pipelines, exhaust pipes, smoke stacks, and other heat-exposed surfaces where both thermal stability and corrosion protection are required. It is suitable for new construction as well as maintenance applications and can be applied by brush or spray.
