Usage:
Epilux 4 High Build MIO Coating is recommended for steel structures exposed to aggressive coastal and industrial atmospheres, including ship loaders, hopper conveyors, silos, storage tanks, pipelines, and general structures in fertilizer plants, refineries, petrochemical facilities, and engineering industries. With a recommended DFT of 75–100 microns per coat, it provides a theoretical spreading rate of approximately 5.2–6.9 m²/litre. It dries to touch in 4 hours, is handleable in 8 hours, becomes hard overnight, and has a curing time of 7 days. The coating offers continuous temperature resistance up to 93°C and intermittent resistance up to 120°C.
Applications:
Ideal for protecting structural steel and industrial equipment in demanding coastal, marine, and industrial environments. Suitable for ship loaders, hopper conveyors, silos, storage tanks, pipelines, fertilizer plants, refineries, petrochemical facilities, and other steel structures requiring high-build corrosion protection and long-term water impermeability. It can be applied by brush or airless spray and used as an intermediate or finish coat within compatible protective coating systems.
